The Academy Of Unlimited Possibilities LLC. is a youth self-enrichment program designed to develop the character and skills needed to enhance social-emotional learning. Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults acquire and effectively apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships and make responsible decisions.

Our mission is to equip every child with the vital tools to build a higher self-esteem and bridges to dreams beyond their enviroment. Our belief and motto is “Greatness is possible”. If we can awaken our children to their true potential, the greatness that lies within them, then we can help them make smarter decisions in life which is essential to our program. Know your worth, value your life and the lives of others, never lose sight of your goals and don’t do anything that could jeopardize them. These are a few of the core principles we emphasize to help them form a “GPS” (greatness positioning system) to navigate through life.

The philosophy of the academy is strategically introduced in six sequential modules:

• Who Are You?

• Social Acceptance

• Substance Awareness

• The Greatness Inside of You

• Character Development

• It's Your Decision

Each module is designed to build character, self-awareness and life skills while providing a thought provoking activity. Module 1 is the foundation of the program. In this module we address the whole child: the mind, body and inner spirit/heart. We bring an awareness to the mind and thought processes and how it affects their emotions and decisions. The body is analyzed, just how magnificently created we are and the necessary foods and activities to keep us healthy. They are then guided through how to harness and utilize their inner intuitive sense, their individual GREATNESS!

Modules 2 through 6 address the issues of life, the outside world and how to effectively navigate through puberty. We also establish a platform on which our youth can appreciate and express their individual greatness.

The six modules are in alignment with New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards.
